Why Businesses Stall
Starting a business -->Â Employing a handful of people -->Â Getting it to survive for five years.

This is astoudingly hard.
Â
If you have achieved this, you have already proven you have what it takes to do one of the hardest things in the world to do.
Â
Yet, most founders who do this, get stuck.Â

You might find yourself caught in a vicious triangle: lacking the time to work on growth, lacking the money to invest in expansion, and lacking the knowledge of how to break out of this cycle.Â

Over time, the business that was once your dream can turn into a prison of your own making, relying entirely on your day-to-day grind.
Â
When businesses do not grow it is for one or more of five reasons:
Â
-
The founders do not want the business to grow.
-
The founders do not believe that it is possible to grow.
-
The founders do not know how to grow the business.
-
The business cannot gain access to the right capital and resources.
-
The founders do not have the spiritual, emotional, and psychological strength to do what it takes to grow the business.

The 5-2-50 Challenge
We invite every founder to join in The 5-2-50 Challenge.Â

The challenge consists of three interrelated goals, that together, when scaled to thousands of businesses creates a platform for us to eradicate poverty and disciple nations.
Grow to 50 People
The core of the reason for existence of 5-2-50 is to eradicate poverty by creating good jobs.Â
We do this by challenging small businesses of at least five people, to grow to at least 50 people -- creating up to 45 good new jobs in every business.
Get to ZAR 10 million Profit
Profit is the life blood of a business. It ensures sustainability.

We invite every founder to commit to getting at least ZAR 10 million net profit after tax.Â

This also creates a good foundation for the 3rd goal ...
Free the Founder
People who can start and build new businesses is one of the rarest resources in our societies.Â

Yet, most founders get stuck in the day to day grind of a business that does not grow.Â

We invite you to build your business in such a way that you can step away from the day-to-day grind and have the freedom to start new ventures or focus on your next calling.
